Tile Access Panel Kits
Maintaining access to building services hidden behind porcelain or ceramic tiles is a common requirement in residential and commercial projects.
But most tiling contractors agree that installing concealed tile access panels can be tricky – a fiddly, messy and time-consuming process. So Ashbury Tiles Ltd, a leading tiling contractor, approached us for a better solution.
The Challenge: Create a solution for installing removable access panels quickly, accurately and with a professional finish.
The Solution: CBS Insight used patented Dual-Grip technology to develop a 2-part magnetic fixing system
Commercialised as Ezy-Fit Tile Access Panel Kits, porcelain and ceramic tiles are held securely in place using both dry-tack and magnetic attraction.
And when access is needed, the tile is lifted away using a suction cup with no mess or damage.

Non Slip Rugs
Loose laid rugs bring an added layer of warmth and comfort to both commercial and residential spaces.
However, when laid on hard surfaces, they can present a safety risk due to slippage.
The Challenge: Leading rug manufacturer Balsan asked us to develop a removable solution that holds rugs securely in place for one of their major hotel chain clients.
The Solution: We developed Ezy-Rug Gripper Kits, which hold rugs and mats strongly and securely in place, with no slipping, sliding or lifting.
This unique 2-part magnetic rug gripper system is easy to install and removes cleanly for damage-free floors and rugs.

Retail Refurbishment
With seven stores across London, this upscale US-based supermarket chain was keen to have its retail spaces closely reflect the company values of sustainable, organic produce.
The stores that the company had acquired as part of its UK expansion plan had tired and dated painted flooring, not at all in keeping with its brand image.
The Challenge: Develop a process to refit durable, stylish flooring across the estate with minimal disruption to trading.
The Solution: CBS Insight advised the use of IOBAC Magnetically Receptive Resin coupled with magnetic wood-effect Luxury Vinyl Tiles.
Applied directly to the existing floor with no lengthy preparation steps, its express cure time of 1-2 hours enabled stores to be transformed overnight with no disruption to store trading.
As the resin forms a permanent, reusable base, it can be reused for future store refits, negating the need for additional new materials and making it a sustainable option for retail refits.
